a design studio devoted to the music industry, helping bands engage fans in a virtual world.

During the spring and summer of 2021, the studio art directed the 10th anniversary of A2IM’s Libera Awards. A virtual show, graphics were vital to making the event feel cohesive and celebratory. The studio designed and animated the entire event, including 30 categories, eight live performances, and lifetime achievement awards. When the Libera Awards aired on June 17th, everyone had a smile on their face and music in their heart.

While producing the Libera Awards, The Visceral Glitch art directed a few other projects, including a single cover for Noel Gallagher, a tour promo for Kristen Hersh, an album promo for the New Rising Sons, and album promos plus a Spotify Canvas for The Dead Licks.

Back in 2020, as Covid hit and venues shut down, The Visceral Glitch quickly developed UnderCover, a live stream series of performances that gave musicians opportunities to collaborate, reach fans and raise money for artists affected by the pandemic lockdowns. UnderCover was no ordinary Livestream. Every episode featured two bands playing original songs, covering each other’s songs, and a live VJ set from Electic Method. Partnering with A2IM and raising money for the Musicians Foundation, the show ran from April through December 2020, featuring bands like The Seratons, Long Range Hustle, Fever Dolls, TVOD, and Waltzer.

Out of the gate in 2019, The Visceral Glitch created graphics-based videos and promos for renowned labels and bands. These include a few commissions for Mute Records, such as a social promo and lyric video for the reissue of The Pop Group’s debut album ‘Y’ and an Instagram filter to promote Haai’s EP ‘Put Your Head Above The Parakeets’.

Drawing on decades of experience producing music documentaries for the BBC and motion graphics for the media and ad industries, The Visceral Glitch believes in creating more engaging content to help artists promote their music online.
